Representation In Moving Images!

I chose this picture to write about how young people are represented in this photograph. As you can see in this picture they are all reconstructed as laying on each other at what it looks like is some sort of house party which could show that they could have taken drugs and they look drunk. They have dressed them in revealing and thin clothes also they show alot of flesh which could give connotations of sexual behaviour. They have also put them close together which means most of them probably are friends. There trying to make them look disgraceful to the older viewer but i also think they are trying to relate to the younger viewers for e.g. by the clothes there wearing and the fact that they are at a party.

Age: They relate to only one type of age range which is teenagers they do this by only showing teenagers in there pictures which obviously shows that the programme is based around teens, but that there obviously will be adults in the programme.

Race:They show a few different races in this picture which means they are going to relate to teens lifes all over the world and how different coultures deal with alot of problems that can come up in teen life.

Gender: They show both genders in this programme which gives connotations that there will be alot of different relationships in this programme and that they can help show it from the girl and boys perspective.
